Culminating in management responsibility for practical operations at the Tate Gallery, London UK, my career began with registrarial work, exhibition and display origination, and museum education. The work has taken me from local museums to the Royal Collections Trust, via the British Museum and the Tate. This range of experience helps me to understand the requirements, and also the aspirations, of staff in today’s museum organisations.
